Photoshop doesn’t open files from Finder
After upgrading Mac OS X via an Archive Install, Adobe Photoshop wouldn’t open files when I double-clicked them in the Finder or dragged them onto the dock icon. It turns out the problem is that a key file wasn’t getting copied over:
/Library/ScriptingAdditions/Adobe Unit Types
Moving that from my Previous Systems folder into the new /Library/ScriptingAdditions/ folder solved my problem.
This isn’t the first time I’ve had problems with Photoshop and probably won’t be the last. It sure is nice to have a database of millions of Mac-related issues that I can search through when I please.
